Beginning October 17, 2017, Port Angeles School District is making available surplus computers to public and private schools for use in preschool through 12th grade.  Schools interested in these items should contact Jarred Blauser, Director of Educational Technology, for terms and conditions by phone at 360-565-1813, or by email: jblauser@portangelesschools.org

 

Beginning October 26, 2017, these surplus computers will be made available to the general public. 

 

The district is selling the following surplus machines at $5.00 each:

•              Dell Optiplex 755 computers.  These have 80gb hard drives and 2gb of ram.  This is the computer only and does not come with a monitor, mouse, keyboard, or cables.  Specifications can be found at the following website:

These computers will be offered to the public on Thursdays, beginning October 26, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the District’s Lincoln Center, located at 905 West 9th Street, Port Angeles, for a limited time.  Cash only is accepted.

 

Note the computers do not come with operating systems installed, do not come with any warranty or support, and are sold in “as is” condition.  All computers were in working order when removed from service.  There are a limited number of monitors for $5 each, power cords, mice, power cords, and keyboards to go with each computer, as well.

 

The Port Angeles School Board has declared these computers as surplus and has authorized the sale of these computers to the public.
