Two PAHS Students Advance to FBLA Nationals

Two PAHS Students Advance to FBLA NationalsAs a result of state competition in Bellevue held over spring break, two Port Angeles High School students will advance to the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference.

Senator Atwater, senior, qualified in the category of Emerging Business Issues, and Talia Anderson, freshman, qualified in the category of Introduction to Business Communication.

PAHS instructors Pam Helpenstell and Bernie Brabant are FBLA co-advisors.

The conference will be held in Baltimore, MD June 28 – July 1, 2018.  The theme of this year’s conference is Elevate Your Future.

FBLA is an American career and technical student organization that has been around since 1940.  FBLA primarily helps students transition to the business world.  For more information, go to www.fbla-pbl.org.
