Roosevelt Students Learn About Safety from Community Leaders

Port Angeles, Wash. - Roosevelt Elementary celebrated its 25th Annual Safety Fair on Friday, a tradition which began at the former Fairview Elementary and continued at Roosevelt by JoAnn Lewis, coordinator of the event and paraeducator at the school.
Community safety agencies in attendance to talk about safety and their roles in providing safety in the community were: Clallam County Sheriff Department; Washington State Patrol; Clallam County Fire District #2; Port Angeles City Police; Pen Com, the communications division of the Port Angeles Police Department; and the Port Angeles School District Pupil Transportation Center.
