Port Angeles Students Place at SkillsUSA ContestPort Angeles, Wash. - Fourteen students from Port Angeles High School (PAHS) and the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center (NOPSC) competed at the Washington State Leadership and Skills Leadership Conference April 27-29th held in Yakima.  Contests were hosted at Perry Technical Institute, Yakima Public Schools and the Yakima Convention Center.

Port Angeles students competed in Machining, Cabinetmaking, Collision Repair, and Action Skills. 

Ryan Moore- 1st place
Bradley Lightfoot- 2nd place

Collision Repair
Hunter Dougherty- 5th place $1000 scholarship
Zach Baier- 6th place $1000 scholarship

Kaytlin Turner- 1st place
Marcus Trujillo- 9th place
Cody Anderson-10th place

Action Skills
Lucas Verstegen- 2nd place

First place medalists will be invited to compete at the National Leadership and Skills Conference June 19th-23rd in Louisville, Kentucky.
