PAHS Students in SkillsUSA Competition in Lacey

Dan Helpenstell, Collision Repair instructor and Tim Branham, Trade and Industries instructor, took 18 PAHS students to River Ridge High School in Lacey for a SkillsUSA competition on January 26.

“We came back with 22 medals,” said Branham. “From this contest they will select the students that should go on to the state contest in April.”

SkillsUSA Woodshop 012 – PAHS senior Glenn Deckard (at left) earned three first places and a third place from the January 26 SkillsUSA competition. This distinction has earned Glenn the unofficial title “Mister SkillsUSA” by his instructor, Tim Branham.
