High School Business Leaders Attend Leadership Conference

High School Business Leaders Attend Leadership ConferencePort Angeles, Wash. – The Port Angeles High School (PAHS) Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America competed at the Washington FBLA State Business Leadership Conference April 19 through 22nd held in Spokane, Washington.

Over 2,000 students and advisors attended the conference from 126 chapters throughout Washington State. 

Twenty-three members of the PAHS FBLA Chapter participated in the conference along with their advisors Pam Helpenstell and Bernie Brabant.  
The top four finishers are automatic qualifiers for the National Conference in Anaheim, California June 27 through July 2nd.  “We will know by April 28th if others will qualify,” advisor Brabant said.
PAHS FBLA students placed as follows:
Amber Benoit: Accounting II, 6th
Taylor Beebe: Business Law, 8th
Senator Atwater: Future Business Leader, 7th
Areej Al Awadhi: Introduction to Business, 10th
Kiara West: Intro to Parliamentary Procedure, 8th
Jackie Young: Intro to Parliamentary Procedure, 10th
Senator Atwater: Local Chapter Annual Business Report, 7th
Noah Sinnes, Taylor Beebe, Haylen Gerhard:  Network Design, 6th
Haylen Gerhard: Networking Concepts, 9th
