Saturday, August 23 – Port Angeles Back to School Event
The Port Angeles School District is working with Parent Line/Lutheran Community Services NW and other local service organizations to host the 2014 Back to School Event for families in need on Saturday, August 23, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary, 218 East Twelfth Street.

Elementary Breakfast Program Changes for 2014-15 School Year
Due to recent changes in the U. S. Department of Agriculture and State of Washington guidelines regarding student meals, the Port Angeles School District can no longer offer district-provided snacks to students around morning recess time. Rather, breakfast will be served at no cost to any enrolled elementary student who wishes to eat breakfast before school.

A Pirate Invasion Is Coming!
If you think you are seeing Pirates on August 14, 21 and 23 you aren’t imaging things. They’re real, and they will be handing out Pirate booty and even doing some “positive picketing” at select sites in Port Angeles – See Pirate Pete at the Port Angeles Back to School event on Saturday, August 23, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
