Help Desk Requests

Submitting a Help Desk Ticket

Via Email
You can generate a help desk request by sending email to hdesk@portangelesschools.org.
When making a help desk request please try to include as much information as possible to help us help you. The Tech department now has 3 new staff members and finding you is sometimes a challenge.
Helpful information includes:

  1. Your name
  2. Building
  3. Room #
  4. Phone #
  5. If possible: Computer Name - This can be found under system properties. Right click computer and select properties or pressing win + pause should bring up a popup which includes the computer name.

Via Help Desk Portal
You can also now visit our help desk portal at http://portangelesschools.org/helpdesk to submit a ticket or manage existing tickets.
Please submit your request through the portal or email and we will help as soon as possible. You will need to login with your district credentials when prompted to utilize this ticket sumbission portal. You do not have to login to the district website itself.

Managing Sumbitted Help Desk Tickets

Previous Tickets
You can also now manage any previous tickets you have submitted without having to send a new email to the help desk. By logging into our help desk portal at http://portangelesschools.org/helpdesk you can view tickets that you have submitted previously and modify, comment, or close tickets. This will help you see the status of your ticket more easily as well as see which tickets you have already submitted. If you have further questions regarding this, please feel free to contact the Tech Department.
